1. Operating conditions (pressure, temperature, and characteristics of the working medium).
2. The loading conditions of this component and its function within the diaphragm valve structure.
3. Good processability.
4. Under the above conditions, costs must be kept low.
Materials for the valve body, bonnet, and diaphragm (valve disc): The valve body, bonnet, and diaphragm are among the primary components of a diaphragm valve and are directly subjected to process fluid pressure; therefore, the materials used must comply with the “Pressure-Temperature Ratings for Diaphragm Valves” requirements.
